제 목 : 자유가 아니면 죽음을 달라 (요8:31 – 42절)
(It’s not freedom, give me death.)
｢자유에의 절규｣ A cry for freedom.
“사람이 사람답게 살 수 있는 길은 자유에서 시작된다.”
The way a man can live like a man begins with freedom.
“자유가 아니면 죽음을 달라.”
It’s not freedom, give me death.
“사람들이 진정한 자유가 무엇인지 혼돈하고 있다.”
People are confused about what real freedom is.
“우리는 자유롭지 못해서 불행한 것이 아니고, 잘못 선택한 자유 때문에 불행할 수 있다”
We are not unhappy because we are not free, we can be unhappy because of the wrong freedom.
“자유가 오히려 우리를 해칠 수도 있다”- 도스토예프스키
Freedom may rather harm us.
1. 예수님께서 죄를 짓는 자마다 죄의 종이라 하셨다.
(Jesus daid that every sinner is a servant of sin.)
“자유를 가지고 죄를 지으면 죄의 종이 되고 마는 것이다”
If you have freedom and sin, you will become a servant of sin.
“자유를 가지고 죄와 악을 허용했고, 용납했고, 받아들여서 인간은 종으로 살아간다.”
Freedom allowed sin and evil. Accepted, accepted, man lives as a servant.
“죄에서의 자유한 자가 진정한 자유인이다”
He who is free form sin is a true free man.
“하나님의 명령을 어기는 행위가 죄다”
Be guilty of violating God’s orders.
“믿지 않는 것, 사랑하지 않는 것, 순종하지 않는 것, 성경이 명하는 모든 도덕과 교훈을 따르지 않는 것”
Not believing, not loving, not obeying, not following all the morality and lessions the Bible says.
“그것을 하고 아니하는 능력을 갖는 일이 죄의 종된 몸에서 해방된 몸”
Having the ability to do it and not do it is a body freed from the sinful body.
2. 진리를 알지니 진리가 자유롭게 하리라고 말씀하셨다
(When he knew the truth, he said that the truth should be free.)
(요 14:6절)
“내가 곧 길이요 진리요 생명이니 나로 말미암지 않고는 아버지께로 올 자가 없느니라”
(본문 32절)
“진리를 알지니 진리가 너희를 자유롭게 하리라”
“그 진리가 모든 인간을 자유롭게 하는 것”
That the truth frees all human begins.
“이 진리의 본체가 예수님이요, 하나님이다.”
The body of this truth is Jesus and God.
“진리를 떠나서는 이 세상의 아무 것도 알 수 없고, 진리를 통해서만 만유를 인식할 수 있다”
Apart from the truth, we cannot know anything in the world, but only through the truth
can we recognize the world.
“예수님을 영접할 때 진리가 너희를 자유롭게 하는 역사가 일어난다”
When you encounter Jesus, history arise in which the truth frees you.
3. 예수님은 비유로 주인과 종의 관계를 말씀하셨다.
(Jesus talked about the relationship between the master n the servant as a metaphor.)
1) 주인은 가능한 한 풍성히 가지고 있어야 한다
1) The owner should have as much as possible.
2) 주인은 현재에 머물지 않고 끝없이 개발해야 함
2) Owners need to develop endlessly without staying in the present.
3) 자신이 세상에서 누리는 행복을 하나님의 뜻을 위해 바치는 사람
3)He is a person who dedicates the happiness he enjoys in the world to the will of God.
“마음의 지배를 받으면 대인이 되고, 마음이 귀와 눈의 욕심의 지배를 받으면 소인이 된다” - 맹자
When the mind is controlled, it becomes an interpersonal person, and when the mind is controlled
by the greed of the ears and eyes, it becomes a postmark.
“주인은 자기 자신과 역사에 대하여, 하나님 앞에서 책임을 갖고 사는 사람”
The master is a person who lives responsible before God for himself and history.
“악마성이라는 것은 무제약성(無制約性)｣-칼 바르트
Devils are infallible –Carl Barthes.
“인간의 자유는 자살까지 하는 자유”-도스토예프스키
Human freedom is freedom to commit suicide-Dostoyevsky
(갈 5 :1절)
“그리스도께서 우리로 자유롭게 하려고 자유를 주셨으니, 그러므로 굳세게 서서 다시는 종의 멍에를 메지 말라”
“내 영혼이 자유하기 위해서는 하나님의 말씀 안에서 자유인이 되어야 한다”
In order for my soul to be free, I must be a free man in the word of God.
“진정한 자유는 죄로부터의 자유이다.”
True freedom is freedom from sin.
롬 8:35-
“누가 우리를 그리스도의 사랑에서 끊으리요…하나님의 사랑에서 끊을 수 없으리라”
