믿음의 사람들과 종려나무 (시 92:8～15절)
(People of faith and palm trees.)
‘힘든 인생도 뿌리를 내리면 모진 비바람을 이겨낼수 있구나!’
If you take root in a hard life, you can overcome the rain and wind.

“지금 어디에 어떻게 뿌리를 내리고 살아가느냐?”
Where and how you live your life and take root?
1. 의인과 종려나무에 대해 살펴보겠다.
(Let’s take a look at the righteous N palm trees.)
본문 12절, “의인은 종려나무 같이 번성하며…”
Righteousness thrives like palm trees.
“믿음의 사람들을 바로 이 종려나무로 비유”
The people of faith are compared to this palm tree.
“하나님의 자녀된 사람들로 하나님께 뿌리를 내리고 살아가는 사람들”
Those who have become children of God N live with their roots in God.
“믿음으로 하나님과의 관계를 회복한 사람들”
Those who have restored their relationship with God through faith.
2. 왜 하필이면 믿음의 사람들을 종려나무로 비유할까요?
(Why did you compare people of faith to palm trees?)
“우리가 사는 이 세상이 마치 광야와 같은 곳이기 때문”
Because the world we live in is like a wilderness.
찬송가 415장 1절
“…이 광야 같은 세상에 늘 방황할 때에 주 십자가의 그늘에 내 쉴 곳 찾았네”
When I was wandering in this wild world. I found my place of rest in the shade on the Lord’s Cross.
‘세상의 물을 마시는 자는 다시 목마르다.’
The drinker of the world’s water is thirsty again.
“교회적으로도 지금은 광야 교회의 시대”
This is the time of the wilderness church.
3. 의인은 종려나무같이 번성하게 될 것이다.
(The righteous will flourish like a palm tree.)
‘의인은 종려나무와 같다’
A man of righteousness is like a palm tree.
“그 뿌리가 깊은 샘을 향하여 뻗어가기 때문”
This is because its roots extend toward the deep spring.
‘하나님을 의뢰하지 않고도 잘된다.’ X
It goes well without relying on God. X
본문 7 - 9절
“악인들은 풀 같이 자라고 악을 행하는 자들은 다 흥왕할지라도 영원히 멸망하리이다 여호와여 주는 영원토록 지존하시니이다 여호와여 주의 원수들은 패망하리니 죄악을 행하는 자들은 다 흩어지리이다”
시 37:16절
“의인의 적은 소유가 많은 악인의 풍부함보다 승하도다”
“예수 그리스도 안으로 더 깊이 뿌리를 내려야 한다”
Jesus Christ needs to be rooted deeper into it.
“여러분의 뿌리를 하나님께로, 예수님의 몸된 교회로 뻗어가라”
Spread your roots to God and to the church of Jesus’ body.
