제 목 :칭찬 받는 종과 책망 받은 종 (마 25:14～30절)

마12:42절, “… 솔로몬보다 더 큰 이가 여기 있느니라”

본문 29절
“무릇 있는 자는 받아 풍족하게 되고 없는 자는 그 있는 것까지 빼앗기리라”
He who has it will receive it, and he who has it will be rich, and he who does
not have it will be taken away.
“무릇 있는 자는 받아 풍족하게 되고”
:있는 자란 충성한 자
Anyone who has it will receive it and be rich.
:A man of his own is a loyal man.
“없는 자는 그 있는 것까지 빼앗기리라”
:없는 자란 충성심이 없는 자
He who does not have it will take away what is there.
:A man without loyalty is a man without loyalty.
1. 착하고 충성된 종이라 칭찬받은 이유가 무엇인가?
(Why he was praised for being a good and loyal servant?)
본문 16～17절
“다섯 달란트 받은 자는 바로 가서 그것으로 장사하여 또 다섯 달란트를 남기고
두 달란트 받은 자도 그같이 하여 또 두 달란트를 남겼으되”
첫째, 기회를 놓치지 않고 사명을 감당하였다
First, He dodn’t miss the opportunity to carry out my mission.
“바로 가서 장사하였다“
:즉시 지체하지 않고 사명을 감당하였다
He went straight to do business.
:Take on your mission without delay.
“충성은 기회를 잃지 않고 일하는 것이다.”
Loyalty is to work without losing an opportunity.
“내일은 게으른 사람이 가장 많이 사용하는 말이다”
Tomorrow is the most common word used by lazy people.
둘째, 주인이 보이지 않는데도 열심히 하였다.
Second, He worked hard even though he couldn’t see the owner.
“아무리 능력이 있어도 보지 않는다고 게으르면 성공할 수 없다.”
No matter how capable you are, you can’t succeed if you’re lazy if you don’t see it.
“충성된 일꾼에 의하여 하나님의 나라가 건설되어 가는 것이다.“
The kongdom of God is built by aloyal worker.
셋째, 이유 없이 순종하였기 때문이다.
Third, because he was obedient.
“하나님의 명령은 무조건 순종하지 않으면 안된다.”
You must obey God’s orders unconditionally.
사 1:19절
“너희가 즐겨 순종하면 땅의 아름다운 소산을 먹을 것이요”
If you like to obey, you will eat the beautiful byproducts of the earth.
“즐거워서 즐겁게 순종하는 것”
The act of obeying with pleasure.
넷째, 끝까지 잘하는 것이 충성이다.
Fourth, Being good until the end is loyalty.
“그는 달려갈 길을 마지막까지 쉬지 않고 달려갔다.”
He ran his way to the end without stopping.
다섯째, 작은 일에 충성하였다.
Fifth, He was loyal to small things.
“작은 일을 차근차근 착실하게 하는 사람이 큰일을 할 수 있다.”
A person who keeps small things steady step by step can do big things.
2. 악하고 게으른 종이라고 책망 받지 말자
(Don’t be blamed for being a bad, lazy species.)
본문 26절, “악하고 게으른 종아”
Thou wicked and slothful servant.
첫째, 게을렀기 때문이다.
First, because he was lazy.
“달란트란 하나님이 주신 재능과 사명을 말한다”
Talent refers to the talent and mission given by God.
“누구든지 잘하겠다고 생각은 하는데 다음으로 미루는 것이 문제다“
I think everyone will do well, but the problem is to put it off.
‘오늘은 좀 쉬고 다음에 참석하지 뭐’
I’ll take a break today and attend next time.
둘째, 순종 대신 변명을 하였기 때문이다.
Second, because he made an excuse instead of a purebred.
삼상15:22절, “… 순종이 제사보다 낫고…”
obedience is better than a memorial service.
“순종” Obedience.
셋째, 이익을 하나도 남기지 않았기 때문이다.
Third, because it didn’t leave any profit.
“사람들은 세상에서 죄라는 쓰레기만 남기고 간다.”
People only leave behind the trash of sin in the world.
넷째, 작은 일에 충성하지 않았기 때문이다.
Fourth, because he wasn’t loyal to small things.
눅 16:10절
“지극히 작은 것에 충성된 자는 큰 것에도 충성되고, 지극히 작은 것에 불의한 자는 큰 것에도 불의하니라”
“비록 네가 작은 일을 맡았다고 해도 은혜요 기회인줄 알고 감사하라“
Even if you take on a small task, be grateful for the grace and opportunity.
“한 달란트 주신 것은 하나님이 극진히 나를사랑하셨기 때문”
Because God loved me so much that he gave me a talent.
“충성도 한 걸음부터 시작한다는 마음 자세를 갖자”
Let’s start with loyalty.
