전 9:4절
“모든 산 자들 중에 들어있는 자에게는 누구나 소망이 있음은 산 개가 죽은 사자보다 낫기 때문이니라”
‘죽은 사자보다 산 개나 더 낫다’ A dog is better than a dead lion.
:소망을 가진 사람의 존재가 얼마나 고귀한지를 교훈
A lesson in how noble the existence of a man with a wish is.
0.생명에는 세 가지의 신비 (Three Mysteries of Life.)
1.출생의 신비(Birth) 2.죽음의 신비(Death) 3.부활의 신비(Resurrection)
‘주님과 함께 부활의 영광에 참여한다’
Participate in the glory of resurrection with the Lord.
1. 그리스도를 알고 부활의 권능을 알고자 한다고 하였다.
(He said he wanted to know Christ N know the power of resurrection).
0.부활은 신앙의 보증이다. (Resurrection is a guarantee of faith.)
1.육체의 부활 보증 (A guarantee of the resurrection of the flesh.)
“… 이는 너희로 믿게 하려 함이라…” (요 11:15절)
“주님의 부활은 우리가 다시 살아날 것에 대한 증표”
The resurrection of the Lord is a sign of our rebirth.
0.부활은 신앙의 보증이다.(Resurrection is a guarantee of faith.)
2.부활은 영생을 보증 (Resurrection guarantee eternal life.)

3.부활은 죽음에 대한 승리의 보증
(Resurrection is a guarantee of victory over death.)
“하나님 나라의 소망은 썩지 않는 것이기 때문”
Because the hope of God’s kingdom is not to rot.

4.부활은 의롭다함을 얻었음을 보증
(The resurrection guarantees that it is righteous.)
“의인은 없나니 하나도 없다” There is no righteousness, not a single one.
2. 부활에 참여하기 위해서는 주님의 고난에 동참해야 한다.
(To participate in the resurrection, we must join the suffering of the Lord.)
“죽음 없는 부활 없고, 십자가 없는 부활도 없다”
There is no resurrection without death, no resurrection without a cross.
본문 10～11절
“내가 그리스도와 그 부활의 권능과 그 고난에 참여함을 알고자 하여 그의 죽으심을 본받아 어떻게 해서든지 죽은 자 가운데서 부활에 이르려 하노니”
“부활의 영광을 얻으려면 반드시 죽어야 한다.”
To achieve the glory of resurrection, we must die.
“주님의 고난에 참여하는 것은 주님과 같은 마음이 되는 것”
To participate in the suffering of the Lord is to be in the same mind as the Lord.
“십자가는 생명의 십자가요, 하나님의 지혜와 능력이다”
The cross is the cross of life, the wisdom and power of God.
“자기를 부인하고 자기 십자가를 지는 것”
Denying yourself, taking your cross.
“자신의 가치, 욕심, 자신의 성질, 자신의 방법을 죽이는 것”
Killing one’s own values, greed, temper, methods.
눅 9:58절
“…여우도 굴이 있고 공중의 새도 집이 있으되 인자는 머리 둘곳이 없도다 하시고”
‘그리스도로 인하여 자기가 소중하다고 생각하는 것을 다 버린다’
Because of Christ, we abandon everything that we think is precious.
“자기 부인없이 십자가를 질 수 없고, 십자가 없는 영광은 없다.”
You can’t lose a cross without yourdeny, and there’s no glory without a cross.
3.그리할 때 푯대를 향하여 달려가는 삶을 살게 된다.
(That’s when you live a life of running towards the standards.)
본문 12절
“내가 이미 얻었다 함도 아니요 온전히 이루었다 함도 아니라 오직 내가 그리스도 예수께 잡힌 바 된 그것을 잡으려고 달려가노라”
“우리가 주님을 따르고, 주님과 함께 부활하여 영광에 참여하는 것”
We are to follow the Lord, and to participate in the glory of the Lord and the resurrection of Hamma.
“부활신앙은 소망이며 푯대다.”
The resurrection faith is a wish and a mark.
