One’s physical conditions and environmental conditions are all limited.
본문 16절
“항상 기뻐하라 쉬지 말고 기도하라 범사에 감사하라…”
Always rejoice, never rest, pray, thank you for everything.
“그리스도인들이 가져야 할 삶의 외형적인 모습”
The outward appearance of a Christian’s life.
1. 기쁨은 삶으로 드러나는 성도의 첫 번째 모습이다.
(Joy is the first manifestation of the Saints through life.)
“희극은 인간을 천하게 보도록 만들지만 비극은 인간을 고귀하게 보도록 한다.”
Comedy makes man look lowly, but tragedy makes man look noble.
‘항상 기뻐하라’ Always rejoice.

어떤 경우에도 기뻐하라
In any case, rejoice.
약 4:9～10절
“슬퍼하며 애통하며 울지어다 너희 웃음을 애통으로, 너희 즐거움을 근심으로 바꿀지어다 주 앞에서 낮추라 그리하면 주께서 너희를 높이시리라”
“늘 기쁨으로 충만한 삶을 살 때 비로소 천국인의 삶을 사는 것”
It is only when you live a life full of joy that you live the life of a heavenly man.
로마서 14:17절
“하나님의 나라는 먹는 것과 마시는 것이 아니요 오직 성령 안에 있는 의와 평강과 희락이라”
2. 늘 기도하는 마음으로 살아야 한다.
(We should always live with a heart of prayer.)
‘쉬지 말고 기도한다’ (I pray without resting.)
:늘 하나님을 의식하면서 함께 살아가는 삶
A life where we always live together while being conscious of God.
“분향은 기도를 상징한다.” (The incense stands for prayer.)
- 기도는 영혼의 호흡 (The breath of the soul)
- 기도는 하나님과의 교제(The companionship with God)
- 기도는 능력 (Prayer is the power.)
막 9:29절
“이르시되 기도 외에 다른 것으로는 이런 종류가 나갈 수 없느니라 하시니라”
“기도는 곧 능력이기 때문이다.”
Because prayer is an ability.
3. 범사에 감사하는 삶을 살아야 한다.
(You must live a life of being grateful for everything.)
에베소서 5:20절
“범사에 우리 주 예수 그리스도의 이름으로 항상 아버지 하나님께 감사하며”
“감사를 아는 사람은 결코 짐승 같은 짓을 하지 않는다.”
A man who knows appreciation never does a beastly thing.
“감사에서 삶의 의미와 크기를 가지게 된다.”
You nave the meaning and size of life in gratitude.
“삶의 크기를 더하려면 감사의 크기를 더하세요”
To add to the size of life, add to the size of your appreciation.
“감사할 때 하나님의 능력이 나타난다.”
The power of God appears when you are grateful.
“감사는 그리스도인의 삶과 일의 능력이 된다”
Appreciation becomes Christian’s ability to live and work.
“이 뜻을 실천할 때 우리의 삶의 크기와 능력이 된다.”
When we practice this meaning, it becomes the size and ability of our lives.
