본문 1절
“여호와는 나의 목자시니 내게 부족함이 없으리로다.”
The Lord is my shepherd, and I am not short of it.
1. 만족할 줄 알아야 평강의 삶을 살 수 있다
(You need to be satisfied so that you can live a life of peace.)
“시인은 만족에서 얻어지는 영혼의 평강을 깊이 체험한 사람”
A poet is a person who has deeply experienced the peace of
the soul that come from satifaction.
‘여호와께서 나의 목자가 되시기 때문’
For the Lord will be my shepherd.
본문 3절, “내 영혼을 소생시키시고···”
Resuscitate my soul...
“죄로 부패하고 상처 입은 영혼을 회복시켜 주심”
Restoring a soul that has been corrupted and wounded by sin.
“하나님의 형상으로 지음 받았던 본래의 상태로 회생시켜 주심”
Rejuvenate to the original state you had written in the image of God.
‘나로 하여금 의로운 길로 걸어가게 하기 위해서’
To make me walk on a righteous path.
본문 2절
“그가 나를 푸른 풀밭에 누이시며 쉴 만한 물가로 인도하시는도다”
He lounges me in the green grass and leads me on the water where I can rest.
“더 원초적이고 중대한 영혼의 평안과 안식과 은총을 노래”
Singing the peace, rest, and grace of the more primitive and important soul.
본문 4절
“내가 사망의 음침한 골짜기로 다닐지라도 해를 두려워하지 않을 것은 주께서 나와 함께 하심이라…”
“위험이 득실거리고 죄가 득실거리는 세상을 말함”
It’s a world where there’s a lot of danger and there’s a lot of sin.
2. 주의 지팡이와 막대기로 나를 안위해 주신다
(Your staff and your stick will protect me.)
4절 하반절
“… 주의 지팡이와 막대기가 나를 안위하시나이다”
... Your cane and stick are not safe for me.
“하나님은 말씀을 통해 내가 가야 할 길을 일러주신다.”
God tells you the way you have to go through the word.
“주의 막대기가 나를 안위하신다”
Lord’s stick doesn’t do me any good.
‘주의 회초리가 나를 평안하게 하신다’
Lord’s whip makes me feel at peace.
3. 오직 예수님이 나의 목자되셨음을 감사합시다
(Let’s only be thankful that Jesus became my shepherd.)
잠 13:24절
“매를 아끼는 자는 그의 자식을 미워함이라 자식을 사랑하는 자는 근실히 징계하느니라”
“오직 여호와가 나의 목자가 되셨음을 감격하고 찬양함”
Thrilled and praised that only Jehovah has become my shepherd.
‘오직 여호와께서 나의 목자가 되시니 내게 부족함이 없다’
The Lord is my shepherd, and I am not lacking.
